My young YA trilogy that starts with Seriously Wicked is a lighthearted and magical story about figuring out who you really want to be.

New story! "Stage Shows and Schnauzers", a funny novelette involving theatre, murder mysteries, and yes, schnauzers is now live to read at Future SF, or available in the collection The Digital Aesthete!
The novelette "The Last Banquet of Temporal Confections" is about political resistance and pastries, and was a finalist for the Hugo, Nebula, and Locus award. Read it for free at tor.com.
My first trilogy, the dark fantasy Ironskin series, has been described as "steampunk Jane Eyre with fairies." Ironskin was a finalist for the Nebula Award.
Tina Connolly (she/her) writes fantastical stories for kids, teens, and grown-ups. Some of them are serious and some of them involve flying bananas. Her stories and books have been finalists for the Hugo, Nebula, Norton, Locus, and World Fantasy Awards.
Her narrations have appeared in over a hundred audiobooks and podcasts. Her games have appeared on Storyloom. She co-hosts the science fiction podcast Escape Pod and runs the intermittent Parsec-winning flash fiction podcast Toasted Cake.
If she's not busy working on one of the above projects, you might find her teaching writing, drawing cat cartoons, inventing songs on the ukulele, or (occasionally) napping in a hammock in beautiful, mossy, Portland, Oregon.
