the SERIOUSLY series

Seriously Obnoxious

"That Seriously Obnoxious Time I Was Stuck at Witch Rimelda's One Hundredth Birthday Party." - Tor.com

This one is a short story, not a book! But it's a prequel, and I put it here to show where it fits. This story grew out of a two-sentence anecdote in Seriously Wicked, about a disastrous pool party involving giant inflatable kraken. It got cut for time, but I thought it would be fun expanded into a short story.

Seriously Wicked

SERIOUSLY WICKED - Tor Teen

The only thing worse than being a witch is living with one.

"In Connolly’s witty, effervescent novel, mother-daughter angst and high school drama is spiced with a 21st-century flavor. . . . Readers, especially those who are fans of fantasy and YA romance will adore this clever genre mash-up." -- School Library Journal

Seriously Shifted

SERIOUSLY SHIFTED - Tor Teen

Invisibility spells. Exploding cars. Love potions. Can’t a good witch ever catch a break?

"Connolly's first-rate plotting delivers a clever story that empathizes with the self-conscious teen world even as it pokes a tiny bit of well-meaning fun. Accomplished plotting teams up with a winsome narrator to give readers a bewitching story." -- Kirkus

Seriously Hexed

SERIOUSLY HEXED - Tor Teen

Being a teen witch is bad enough. Joining a wicked witch coven is right out.

"Ultimately, this is a great series for your middle school or early high school readers because it’s about doing what’s right, even when it’s hard (and who knows, you may even change the world in the process), and how friendships mean being a good friend first. Highly recommended." -- Elitist Book Reviews
