appearances" page now...so if you don't mind indulging me, I'd like to take a moment to boggle at every where I was this year.
Oh right, I also want to list them out so you can boggle.
In Jan/Feb - the Pulp Stage performed BOX for the first time, at the Hipbone Studio here in Portland.
In April I gave my last Silverblind reading at the Ledding Library in Milwaukie. Also in April the Pulp Stage performed "Frederika" at one of their evening events.
In May Seriously Wicked came out and I did a lot of tour stops. I had a launch party at Powell's Cedar Hills here in Portland. Went down to Mysterious Galaxy in San Diego and up to Seattle Mystery Bookshop. Also went out to Redmond as part of a "How Not to Write a Novel Panel."
In June I read/signed from Seriously Wicked in the Stayton, OR library, at the Tanasbourne B&N in Beaverton, at the Raven Bookstore in my hometown of Lawrence KS, and at the KS Union as part of the Campbell Conference. I also did a library trivia event out in North Plains Oregon.
In July the Pulp Stage did a teaser from BOX at the Ledding Library.
In August I presented on "Podcasting 101" at the Willamette Writers Conference in Portland, then went to WorldCon in Spokane where I did a reading with Beth Cato, and a signing.
In September I was at the Hillsdale Library in Portland for a Teen Council meeting.
In October I got to perform in Alex Shvartsman's "Explaining Chthulhu to Grandma" at the Lovecraft Film Festival.
Portland, Oregon, Oct 3rd, 12pm, taught a playwriting workshop for the Young Willamette Writers, and went down to Salem to the Reader's Guide Bookstore for a signing.
In November I went to World Fantasy in Saratoga Springs, and Orycon in Portland. Did a bunch of panels and readings both places. (The picture is of my reading at Orycon, taken by Tracy Erickson.) Also participated in NW Authorfest at Cedar Hills Powells.
In December I was out at the B&N in Clackamas with the Willamette Writers Books for Kids event. And, finally, we closed out the year with the second performance of BOX, this time in the epic one-night version.
I feel very lucky to have gotten to go to so many wonderful bookstores and libraries! (And conventions!) (And shows!) Thanks so much to all of you who helped me, came out to see me, and everything else. I am looking forward to 2016.
